The Old and the Modern China
Summary: Following our itinerary, you will visit more sightseeing helping you to know the Old China, culture as well as landscape. Day 1
Arrive in Beijing.

Arrival at Beijing International Airport, meet the guide and transfer to your traveler class hotel in central Beijing, city tour including Nanluoguxiang Lane to see the back streets of Beijing, then visit the Olympic Park to photo the Bird’s Nest and Water Cubic of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Day 2

Full day excursion to the less visited section of the Great Wall-- Mutianyu, afternoon visit the Sacred Way leading of the Ming Tombs.
Day 3

Morning, visit the Tiananmen Square the biggest one in the world, then the Forbidden City which was the home of the emperors for hundreds of years, afternoon visit the Temple of Heaven, evening at Wangfujing Area to explore the colorful food market or fancy shops.
Day 4

Sightseeing of Summer Palace, walk Dashilan to see the local life, Hutong tour with rickshaw ride through the back streets of Beijing.
Day 5
Beijing - Xian.

Transfer to airport ,flight to Xian, transfer to central traveler class hotel for the following 2 nights, sightseeing of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the square ,Muslim quarter and the Grand Mosque, City Wall (optional biking on the wall) and History Museum.

Full day excursion to the expanded Terra Cotta Warriors Museum and the Museum of Emperor Qinshihuang’s Tomb, Banpo Neolithic Village Museum, terra cotta repair factory, back to the city to visit the active Taoist temple Baxiangong.

Xian - Shanghai.

Transfer to airport, flight to Shanghai, transfer to central traveler class hotel for the following 3 nights, city tour including the old town, Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, Jade Buddha Temple and the water front of the city the Bund.

Excursion to the living water town of the Qing Dynasty style---Zhujiajiao, little pleasure boat ride to see this unique town, back to the city at People’s Square to meet the locals, evening at Xintiandi to see the local night life.

Visit Pudong area including the Shanghai Expo Park, get on the highest view platform of the Oriental TV Tower to get a bird eye view of the metropolis, walk Duolun Road to see the colorful local cultures, walk Nanjing Road for fancy shopping, stay the night in central traveler class hotel.
Day 10
Shanghai - Suzhou.

Take the newest bullet seat train to Suzhou, the famous canal garden and silk town of China, boat cruise on the Grand Canal, visit Fisherman’s Garden and the Humble Administrator’s Garden to see the different styles, visit to the silk factory to see the whole procedure of silk producing from insect to fabric, visit to an embroidery institute to see this unique art.
Day 11
Suzhou - Hangzhou.

Take the new bullet seat train to Hangzhou, the city nicknamed Heaven on the Earth, stay in central traveler class hotel for the following 2 nights, boat cruise on the West Lake, then visit the Six Harmony Pagoda, Lingyin Temple, evening at the Hefang Street to see the Qing Dynasty styled buildings and local life.
Day 12

Sightseeing of tea farm, opportunity to pick or taste the famous Dragon Well Tea, visit to the tea museum, excursion to the Xixi Wetland.
Day 13
Hangzhou - Shanghai.

Take the new bullet seat train to Shanghai, transfer to central traveler class hotel for the night, free time to self explore this huge city, dinner included.
