Day 1
King Of Walnut Trees, the White Jade River
Hotan.
arrival day at Hotan,stay the night in hotel,city tour of Hotan including King Of Walnut Trees and the White Jade River.
Day 2
Tawakule Town.
drive to Tawakule Town,last minute checking of everything before the grand safari (support team gathering and checking, guides, camels,vehicles,facilities etc),stay the night in Tawakule.
Day 3
camel safari
Desert.
camel safari starts after breakfast,25 km ride each day in the desert, stay in tents at night.
Day 4 - Day 6
Desert.
safari in the heart of the desert.
Day 7
Mazatug Village
Desert.
safari continue to Mazatug Village where we stop for a rest tonight,opportunity to add supply here.
Day 8 - Day 17
Hotan River
Desert.
safari along the Hotan River towards the north across the Taklamakan Desert.
Day 18
Aksu
the 450 km grand safari ends at the river mouth where we take 4WD vehicles to Aksu City which is located at the northern rim of the Taklamakan Desert. Stay the night in the hotel where we reward ourselves with good food and drinks for the big victory of the grand safari.
Day 19
Aksu.
tour ends in Aksu, connections to other cities/destinations available at request.
