Day 1
Peoples Square, Shanghai Xintiandi area
Shanghai.
arrival at Shanghai, meet the guide and transfer to your central accommodation, walk the Peoples Square and Shanghai Xintiandi area to meet the locals.
Day 2
FYu Garden, City Planning Museum, Oriental TV Tower, Pudong area
Shanghai.
full day sightseeing of the old town area including the Yu Garden,the City Planning Museum, get on the Oriental TV Tower to get a birds eye view of this huge city,walk the water front of the city the Bund,walk the Pudong area to feel its fast development,evening see the famed acrobats show.
Day 3
Zhouzhuang, Fishermans Garden, silk factory
Suzhou.
drive to visit the living water town of Zhouzhuang with little boat riding included,continue to Suzhou,the famous garden and silk city of China,visit the Fishermans Garden,the best example of the Chinese private gardens,then visit the silk factory to see the complete procedures of silk producing from silk worm to silk fabric,stay the night in Suzhou.
Day 4
Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Hill
Guilin
transfer to Shanghai airport, flight to Guilin, meet the guide and transfer to your hotel, visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Hill.
Day 5
show of Liu San Jie
Yangshuo.
pleasure boat cruise down the picturesque Li River to Yangshuo,a very lovely little town with multi cultures, stay the night in Yangshuo,oppotunity to see the live light show of Liu San Jie.
Day 6
Yangshuo.
full free day to idle arround the town or bike out to the countryside to see the rice fields,the farmers with buffalos or when lucky fisherman with cormorants.
Day 7
Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Bell & Drum Tower Square
Xian
transfer to airport, flight to Xian, meet the guide and do the excursion to the Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum,one of the Eight Wonders of the world before drive back to the city to check into the central accommodation,Walk the Bell & Drum Tower Square to meet the locals, dumpling ( "Jiaozi" ) dinner.
Day 8
Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall, History Museum
Xian, Chongqing
full day sightseeing including the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the well preserved City Wall on which cycling is an option, and the History Museum,one of the best in China,Walk the Muslim quarter.
Day 9
Eling Park, Ciqikou
Chongqing.
transfer to station, take the bullet seat train to Chongqing. Meet the guide and to do a city tour including Eling Park,the highest point to overlook this beautiful mountain city,then visit Ciqikou,the old back streets area of Chongqing, board the Yangtse cruise boat.
Day 10
the Yangtse River
on board down the Yangtse River,we do an offshore excursion to Shi Bao Zhai (Precious Stone Fortress),a great complex of wood buildings on top of the mountain overlooking the running river.
Day 11
the Yangtse River
on board, cruise through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge plus an offshore excursion to Shen Nv Xi (Goddess Stream).
Day 12
the Yangtse River
Yichang.
visit the breath taking Three Gorge Dam after breakfast in the morning,go through the ship locks into the Xiling Gorge,boat gets into Yichang, disembark,meet the guide to do some city tour of town before transfer to the overnight 4 berth sleeper train to Beijing.
Day 13
Tiananmen Square, Fobbidden City
Beijing.
arrival at Beijing in mid=morning, meet the guide and transfer to your hotel,have a brunch before sightseeing of the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, Evening see the colorful Beijing Opera.
Day 14
Great Wall Mutianyu, Houhai area
Beijing.
full day excursion to the less visited section of the Great Wall Mutianyu for a quieter but greater views. A farm visit is included on the way. Walk Houhai area to see the back street local life.
Day 15
Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace
Beijing.
full day sightseeing of the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace,possible some shopping time at the Silk Alley or the Rainbow Market which are all the shoppers paradise of the foreigner visitors,a farewell Beijing Duck dinnerto celebrate a good time in China.
Day 16
Beijing.
free till transfer to airport for a safe flight home.
